Registrations for this event are closed.
When:
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October from 8.30am-4.30pm (approximately) each day. Please ensure that you are ready to start by 8.30am each day. Dependent on course participant numbers, we may finish earlier.
Where:
Saturday – Girl Guides Hall 16 Newman Street Yarralumla ACT (theory)
Sunday: - Grevillea Park off Menindee Drive Barton ACT (practical)
What to bring:
Saturday – bring pen, paper or laptop if you prefer, paddle, snacks and lunch, drinks and a copy of the Level 1 Course Participant Workbook, either printed or saved on your device. (see attached).
Please wear casual gear as there is an exercise component.
Sunday – we will be on the water – so paddling gear, paddle, hat, sunscreen, lifejacket, plenty to drink, lunch and snacks
What you need to do BEFORE the course:
You need to successfully pass five AUSDBF elearning modules – these modules are online and you have multiple opportunities to pass the test for each module, so don’t stress. On registration we will send you a document that outlines how to access the online modules via the AusDBF Learning Management System (LMS). You need to pass:
