News and Updates
Competition Rules and Regulations
Edition 12.1 of the AusDBF Competition Regulations and Rules of Racing will be in use for the Australian Masters Games. We encourage all clubs to read the latest rules to ensure your entries comply. You can download the rules and regulations here.
Crew Lists
You will have to manually produce crew lists. All team managers will be asked to complete a template, listing their team names per category. These lists will be used for marshalling and are required to be submitted to Race Administration by 7.00am on the mornings of Day 1 (200m) and Day 3 (1000m).
Race Draw
The most up-to-date version of the race draw can be downloaded here.
Due to the number of entries received for the 1000m turns race, for safety reasons and to ensure that everyone gets to race the 1000m race, this will now be run over a 500m course with two turns. The placings from each category in same age division from the 200m racing will be used to work out the starting order. The standard 2000m rules will apply (refer to R10 in AusDBF Rules of Racing).
Souvenir Program
You can download the Dragon Boat Sports/Souvenir Program here.

Volunteering
As one of the biggest sporting competitions at the Australian Masters Games, we cannot make this a great event without the support of an army of volunteers. Whether you know all about dragon boat racing or have never heard of it before we would welcome you to offer your time to fill one of the many volunteer positions that are available over the three days of racing. From boat loading, marshalling and timekeeping through to announcing and runner, there's something for everyone, even if you've never volunteered at a local regatta before!
As one of our valued volunteers, you will be provided with a volunteer shirt. You will also be provided with lunch, morning and afternoon tea. As part of your role you will be given a detailed briefing each day for each position you may fill. Half and full day shifts will be available in a variety of roles and you can volunteer for as many days as you like. You do not need to sign up for the full duration of the event.
If you have any questions about volunteering, please email us at admin@dbact.com.au. Otherwise, register your interest by completing the Google Form here.
