Junior Regatta 2026

Is this a Junior only event?

Yes, this regatta is for Junior Paddlers only (sweeps and drummers may be over 18)

Where is the Junior Regatta being held?

The regatta will be held at DBACT facility, Grevillea Park – Menindee Drive BARTON ACT.

Do I need to have my own paddle and life jacket?

No – DBACT have paddles and life jackets (PFDs ) that can be borrowed for the event.

Do we need to provide our own sweep?

DBACT can provide sweeps where needed for combined crews.

However, if you have your own sweep, please bring them. (sweeps and drummers can be over 18)

Do we need to bring our club marquee or tent?

You are welcome to bring your team marquee if you have one. There is plenty of space at Grevillea Park to set it up. DBACT will have marquees available for Juniors to use, and there is also plenty of shade on the shore. 

Can my family and friends come and watch?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome all spectators and supporters and there is plenty of space on the shore to watch and cheer on your Junior Paddlers.

How do I pay for the regatta?

The $15 registration fee will be charged by DBACT via an invoice – sent to you or your club after the event.

Will there be medals?

Yes - all Juniors who participate in the regatta will receive a unique participant medal.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Pins will be awarded to those teams who place 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd in races
