Enter the Dragon – try for FREE Sunday 18 October 2020

Looking for something new to do in 2020? … then we welcome you to come down to Mariner Place in Yarralumla to give dragon boating a go!

Dragon boating is a fun sport for people from twelve years old – and there is no upper age limit. It is accessible and enjoyable for people of all fitness levels. And it's a great way to make new friends.

Date: Sunday 18 October
Where: Mariner Place, Yarralumla (look for the signs)
Time: 10:00am – 12 noon

Come down any time between 10:00am and 12 noon and jump in the boat for a quick paddle. If you are enjoying yourself, you can have as many goes as you like during the two-hour period. Dragon Boat ACT abides by all ACT Government COVID-safe directives. It's okay to be in the boat. On shore all appropriate social distancing and other COVID-safe measures are observed.

Tips

• You need covered shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
• Equipment is provided (paddle, life jacket and boat).
• All sweeps (steerers) are trained and qualified.
• Bring water to drink.
• As always, slip, slop, slap in the Aussie sun - sunscreen, hat & sunglasses.
