The Auroras are Australia’s national dragon boat team. Each season DBACT is proud to acknowledge the drive and dedication of its paddlers that train all year round to be selected for the Australian Auroras.
The 2017 Auroras are listed on the AusDBF website.
A FRIENDLY REMINDER
To meet Australian Auroras obligations, DBACT paddlers selected for the Auroras are required to nominate and paddle for the ACT Fire representative squad.
ACT Fire is the name of our Territory's representative squad. There is a category to suit all ages from Juniors to Senior C.

We are seeking volunteers to assist the coaches in record keeping and marshalling the trialists through various tasks at the selection camp on 5 November, from 8:15am-1:30pm at the AIS. The volunteer jobs are not strenuous and will give you an opportunity to see what your son, daughter or fellow paddler goes through in State team trials. Volunteers meet at AIS at 8.15am out the front of the visitors centre. The coaches will brief volunteers on the tasks and timing of the day once everyone has arrived, and at 8:25am we all move to the gym to start the session.
If you are able to assist with all or part of the camp, or have any questions, please contact Sal Bromley, ACT Fire Head Coach at firstname.lastname@example.org.
